Splinter & Wedge Inc. is a small renovation company based out of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia serving Halifax Regional Municipality and the surrounding areas. We focus on carpentry related projects including windows, doors of all kinds, skylights, cabinet installation, decks trim installations, custom built ins, and occassionally we do custom furniture.
Jeff Nelson, the president of the company, has worked in the construction industry for the last 15 years. He started off working part time and ended up doing project management, estimating and sales. This gave him the background he needed when he decided to accept a position with Home Depot when they opened their stores here in HRM. While at Home Depot Jeff was involved with the install program throughout Atlantic Canada and helped to set up the new stores as the company expanded throughout this area. He has also held management positions in contractor sales and windows and doors.After having a great career with Home Depot, Jeff realized that his true love was out in the field helping people to improve their homes and living spaces. In May 2006 Splinter & Wedge was incorporated and the journey began.
